TICKETED AIRPORT SHUTTLE SERVICE POLICIES
Big Sky Shuttle ticketed shuttle offers a GUARANTEED SERVICE.
SINGLE RIDER SURCHARGE: If you are the only rider on your trip you may be charged a $50 surcharge for the ride.
Below are our Big Sky Shuttle policies for guests traveling on our airport shuttle service to/from Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN) and a Big Sky resort, as well as policies for riders booking our private car/black car service. We encourage all guests to review the Big Sky Shuttle policies before traveling with us. Big Sky Shuttle policies outline rates, terms and conditions, as well as other requirements for our guests.
CHILD CAR SEATS:
If you are traveling with an infant or child who requires a car seat call us at 866-661-6836. Our Luxury Coaches do have seat belts and child seats are NOT required by law. If your child is in a seat the full fare applies. Should you choose to hold an infant (Luxury Coach only) on your lap you will not be charged a fare for the child only if he or she is under 2 years old or LESS than 40 pounds. Over 40 pounds will require the purchase of a full fare ticket.
At the time of reservation we request that you inform us as to your need for child seats. If we use a vehicle other than our Luxury Coaches, such as a Luxury Nissan 4×4 or a Yukon Denali XL, we are REQUIRED BY LAW TO USE CHILD SEATS WHEN APPROPRIATE. Vehicle selection can be made as late as the day prior to the trip. If you have not informed us you need a child seat when you make the reservation, we can not guarantee your ride unless you have brought your own child seats. We can not transport a child that requires a child seat and does not have one. If you do not inform us of your need for a child seat(s) and you do not bring your own, the fare is NOT refundable. Our Luxury Coaches do have seat belts and child seats are not required by law. If your child is in a seat the full fare applies. PICK UP INSTRUCTIONS AT BZN:
All Bozeman airport shuttle departures will LEAVE ON TIME. FOLLOW THE AIRPORT SIGNS TO THE SHUTTLE LOADING AREA. Your driver and vehicle will be at either the BUS LOADING AREA OUTSIDE or the SHUTTLE LOADING AREA SECOND CURB! Please find your driver and vehicle as FEDERAL REGULATIONS prohibit unattended vehicles at the curb, thus our drivers must stay with their vehicle. We are BIG SKY SHUTTLE!!! All our vehicles are black and have our BSS logo on the rear side window. DO NOT GET IN THE WRONG VEHICLE!!! If weather is inclement, please wait inside until you see your BIG SKY SHUTTLE vehicle arrive for loading. We may have multiple vehicles at the airport. Ask any driver for assistance finding your vehicle. Our vehicles picking up for a Private Ride are NOT available for shuttle riders.
**Big Sky Shuttle, Inc. will not be responsible for missed flights at any airport that are a result of inclement weather, unforeseen road closures, highway construction, unusually heavy traffic, or any other conditions that are out of the control of Big Sky Shuttle, Inc., not limited to but including equipment issues. Please be aware that in our mountain environment, weather and unforeseen road closures or accidents causing delays can severely affect travel times. This is particularly relevant during Holidays and peak days during each season.
BIG SKY PICK UPS: Please be at your pick-up location on time. The BSS Luxury Vehicles will not wait for late arrivals. In particular Huntley and Summit may have many riders to pick up, thus that could delay your shuttle pick up TIME. PLEASE DO NOT CALL, YOUR SHUTTLE IS ON THE WAY! We will email blast if we can to alert if we are delayed. If we scheduled 5+ minutes between each stop you would be leaving an hour earlier to compensate,
**Big Sky Shuttle, Inc. will not be responsible if a guest misses their pick-up time at any Pick-Up location stops in Big Sky. Missed pick-ups are non-refundable. Based on availability, we will do our best to accommodate you on another scheduled trip SAME day only.
RESERVATION & CANCELLATION POLICY: All reservations must be booked and paid by Credit Card at the time of booking. We will accept Luxury Coach reservations as long as there are seats available.
* Non-Refundable if cancelled inside 48 hours of travel date/time. Base shuttle cost, not including booking fee, refundable if cancelled outside 48 hours of travel date/time. $5 service fee is not refundable on any cancellation.
We will make every effort to accommodate a change to your reservation but cannot guarantee availability. This effort does not waive any NON-REFUNDABLE policy.
****OUR CANCELLATION POLICIES WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.
BAG POLICY: Each guest will be limited to 3 bags each, including one SMALL carry on, ones bag or snowboard bag and one regular piece of luggage. Big Sky Shuttle, Inc. must be notified at the time of reservation if you have additional luggage or oversized luggage.
MISSED FLIGHT POLICY: Should your flight be delayed or your luggage lost causing you to miss your BSS Luxury Coach reservation depart time from Bozeman Airport, you will be moved to a later trip if one is available. If we have no availability for you on another scheduled trip we will refund your ticket cost. If you chose to secure other transportation your ticket is NONREFUNDABLE. NO EXCEPTIONS. Should you request a Private Ride there will be an up-charge to the Private Ride cost.
LOST ITEMS: Big Sky Shuttle is not responsible under any circumstances for any personal or any items left in Big Sky Shuttle vehicles. If you left something behind we will try to find the item and return it you at your expense. If we have to deliver an item to you after a driver has left there will be a charge to deliver.
PET POLICY: Pets are not permitted on our Luxury Coaches.
MINORS: All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult or guardian 18 years or older in all Big Sky Shuttle, Inc. vehicles. No exceptions.
SEAT BELTS: All riders, regardless of age, must wear seat belts while traveling with Big Sky Shuttle, Inc.
VEHICLE CHOICE: Big Sky Shuttle, Inc. may at their discretion, change your vehicle between a Luxury Coach, Yukon Denali XL or a Luxury Nissan 4×4 depending on bookings.
DAMAGE POLICY: Big Sky Shuttle, Inc. reserves the right to charge a fee for excessive damage to our vehicles or fleet caused by any guest or guests. For excessive cleaning, a minimum of $250.00 will be charged to the guest. For excessive damage to the interior or exterior of the vehicle caused by a guest, including but not limited to the body of the vehicle, leather seats, windows, DVD players, sunroofs and any and all mechanics or amenities on board, Big Sky Shuttle, Inc. reserves the right to charge any guest or guests the amount to correct, repair or replace any said damage.
Big Sky Shuttle, Inc. reserves the right to change or amend the above policies at any time.
PRIVATE CAR SERVICE POLICIES

RESERVATION & CANCELLATION POLICY:
CHARTERS/EXCURSIONS: Payment is required at the time of booking. For cancellations outside two weeks, 30% is NON REFUNDABLE for hourly charter service. For cancellations inside two weeks, there is NO REFUND. 4% Booking fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.
WEDDING SERVICE: Payment is required at the time of booking. For cancellations outside two weeks, 30% is NON REFUNDABLE for wedding transportation service. For cancellations inside two weeks, there is NO REFUND. 4% Booking fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.
* NON-REFUNDABLE if cancelled inside 48 hours of travel date/time. $25 cancellation fee outside 48 hours of travel date/time. 4% Booking fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.

AIRPORT PICK UP: When you land at BZN you will have a TEXT MESSAGE asking you to CALL your driver as you head to baggage claim to arrange your pick up. We love the personal touch! Due to Federal TSA Regulations, we are not allowed to park in the shuttle lane and leave our vehicles unattended so PLEASE CALL OR TEXT YOUR DRIVER!!!. If you have your luggage please meet your driver in the FIREPLACE LOUNGE across from the escalator/stairs or at the shuttle lane outside. Calling or texting your driver will assure a correct meeting place! We prefer you wait inside for your comfort. If you are outside our vehicles are black and have the BSS logo on the rear side windows.
GROCERY STOPS: You must notify BSS at time of booking if you would like a grocery stop. Otherwise we may not be able to accommodate the extra time. Big Sky Shuttle, Inc. will charge $20 per vehicle for a grocery stop for 20 minutes only at Albertsons in Belgrade. Groceries must be PRE-ORDERED per our instructions. Big Sky Shuttle facilitates this service but does not order or pay for groceries for guests. Groceries stops without pre-order will be automatically charged to the guests credit card at $150 / hour in 30 minutes increments and $200 / hour for the Luxury Coach).
Reservations are not fully confirmed at the time of booking. You will receive a second notification once your reservation has been accepted.
Reservations for all Big Sky Shuttle, Inc. vehicles are subject to wait time charges due to extra stops requested by guests. Wait time will be automatically charged at $150.00 / hour per vehicle and $200 / hour for a Coach Charter and will be billed in 15-minute increments.
RATES, TERMS & CONDITIONS: All fares are subject to change. Promotions and/or discounts cannot be combined. All airport services provided by Big Sky Shuttle, Inc. are subject to a $4 per vehicle airport fee for arrival service at Gallatin Field. Airport concession fees are not subject to discount or negotiation. All services provided by Big Sky Shuttle and Discovery Yellowstone Tours, Inc. are subject to a 4% Booking Fee. Booking Fees are not subject to discount or negotiation.
MISSED FLIGHT POLICY: Big Sky Shuttle, Inc. tracks your flights and will make every effort to arrive on time for your airport arrival and departure. Due to regular extreme weather in our travel area, please be prepared for departures to leave earlier than scheduled should we deem that necessary and should we have a vehicle available for an earlier departure. Big Sky Shuttle, Inc. will not be responsible for missed flights at any airport that are a result of inclement weather, unforeseen road closures, highway construction, unusually heavy traffic, or any other conditions that are out of the control of Big Sky Shuttle, Inc. Please be aware that in our mountain environment, weather and unforeseen road closures or accidents causing delays can severely effect travel times. This is particularly relevant during Holidays and peak days during each season. Should there be a closure in the Gallatin Canyon affecting or prohibiting travel, the only available route is south to Highway 287, west thru Ennis to Four Corners and north to Gallatin Field. This route can take at least 2.5 hours one way to Gallatin Field. Should our guests require this accommodation, there is no guarantee we can facilitate this request, but Big Sky Shuttle, Inc. will make every effort to do so if requested. The original fare for the trip will be amended appropriately based on mileage and/or hours of travel. Under any conditions, availability for last minute changes may be unavailable. BSS schedules and dispatches many trips daily so your trip may be subject to trips before or after your arrival or departure. If your flight is significantly delayed by more than 45 minutes we cannot guarantee your driver can be there for your pick at your late arrival time due to other trips booked. We will always do our very best to pick you up as quickly as possible. Should you opt to secure another ride if your flight is delayed your trip is NONREFUNDABLE.
DIVERTED FLIGHTS: When flights are diverted to other airports, we typically are at the airport awaiting your arrival as updates are almost always close to the scheduled landing time with diversions at the last minute. More often than not, diverted flights are significantly delayed. We will make our best effort to pick you up when you finally arrive, but our other trips may prevent us from being there at the new arrival time. We will always do our very best to pick you up as quickly as possible. Should you opt to secure another ride if your flight is diverted, your trip is NONREFUNDABLE. If your flight arrives on the next calendar day due to the airlines delay, the trip is NONREFUNDABLE and you will be charged an additional $100. We will do our best to pick you up at your new arrival time. Due to numerous other scheduled trips daily, your pick up time will be subject to our availability. We cannot guarantee a driver can wait under this condition as we have multiple trips daily. There will be no fare discount or refund if you return to BZN after being diverted and a driver is not available at that exact time. Under any conditions, availability for last minute changes may be unavailable.
LOST LUGGAGE: Upon arriving at the airport, if your luggage has been lost, we understand that can be a frustrating experience after a long day of travel. Your chauffeur will be happy to wait while you check with the airline and arrange for your luggage to find you. There will be no extra charge for this courtesy service.
LOST ITEMS: Big Sky Shuttle is not responsible under any circumstances for any personal or any items left in Big Sky Shuttle vehicles. If you left something behind we will try to find the item and return it you at your expense. If we are unable to locate your item, we are not responsible to pay for or replace that item. If we have to deliver an item to you there will be a charge to deliver.
PET POLICY: Pets are permitted on board with advance notice at the time of reservation. Pets must be in their own carrier.
MINORS: All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult or guardian 18 years or older in all Big Sky Shuttle, Inc. vehicles. No exceptions.
CHILD SEATS: Big Sky Shuttle, Inc. will provide, when available, an all in one child seat upon reservation request. In the state of Montana, all children under the age of 6 or weighing less than 60 pounds are required by law to ride in a federally approved safety seat or booster. Should your reservation take your travel out of the state of Montana we will check the state requirements for you.
**For travel to West Yellowstone: This route takes your trip through Yellowstone Park and Wyoming on Highway 191 south to West Yellowstone. Wyoming law is as follows for children and varies slightly from Montana Law. Please be aware of the difference.
Wyoming Safety Law: “Children must be properly restrained whether in a rear-facing, forward-facing, or booster seat. Depending on the age, weight and height of your child, you will have different requirements. Generally children 8 years old and younger must be in a child seat in the back of the car.”

EXCEPTION: Luxury Nissan 4x4s booked with 8 guests have a luggage limit of 8 check on bags. No exceptions. No ski bags and no grocery stop will be allowed. There simply is not enough room. Thank you for complying with these baggage policies!
